FEE STRUCTURE and TICKET OPTIONS

The summer camp experience is a key entry point for many families joining the Dances of Universal Peace community in New Zealand. In recognition of this, the Core Group offers a number of ways to support and develop Dance Camp Aotearoa as a viable and affordable option for families. The fee structure is one way, where ticket prices are set with families in mind – adults pay a little more while youth and children’s fees are very low (under 6 are free). It is delightful that in recent years camp has seen a steady increase in the number of  teens and children with several new families joining us.

We ask that you plan to stay for the full week. However for some that is not possible. We offer a Per-Night Ticket option (with a 2 night minimum).  This option will be made available after the 20th November and will be subject to availability, as we do have a limit on numbers at camp.  We encourage you to come to the full week.

TICKET OPTIONS
    • Full Week Camping before 20th November  – $560
    • Full Week (Bunk room) – before 20th November $600
    • Full week (private or premium accommodation) – added cost
    • Per Night Ticket (Camping only and subject to availability after 20th November only) – minimum of two consecutive nights – $125
    • Full Week camping  after 20th November  $620
  •       Full Week (Bunk room) after 20th November  $650
    • Kaiāwhina Ticket (Work exchange 1/2 price ticket) (Full week only)
    • Scholarship Ticket (by separate application)

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT

Complete the online Registration Form. Within a week you will receive confirmation of how much your ticket(s) cost.

The Camp Fee includes dance leadership, accommodation, children’s activities and ample vegetarian meals.

An EARLY BIRD discount is available until 20th November. 

Please pay the full amount or your deposit ($150 per adult and $50 per child over 6 yrs old) to secure your registration at the time of registering.

with the balance due by November 20th. Registering early ensures you get a ticket at a reduced ticket price. 

LATE REGISTRATION is available after November 20th if space is still available.

Registrations received after November 20th require the full ticket price to be paid upon registration.

Kaiāwhina

If you wish to reduce your ticket price and are willing to take up a role at camp (give up to 4 hours work per day) apply for a kaiāwhina position to join the happy and willing work crew and feel more involved in the heart of making camp possible. Scholarships - Apply before Oct 10.

If a reduced fee will make it possible for you to attend camp a scholarship option may be available. You are most welcome to apply (see the Scholarship information page, under the Registration tab, and complete the on-line application). Applications received before October 10th will be notified of the outcome in November – later applications could be considered if scholarship funds remain.

If you are coming from Australia or beyond, a special welcome awaits! Please arrange payment of the full amount upon registration.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

If you cancel your registration before December 31st 2023, your payment, minus  $100 admin fee, will be returned to your nominated bank account.

Cancellations received  between December 31st and 10th January 2024: refunds will be at the discretion of the Core Group.

There will be no refunds after 10th January 2024. 

When notifying the Registrar of your cancellation, please include your account details for the refund to be paid to.
